Creamy Pineapple Pudding

Ingredients

  • 2 cups 1% milk
  • 3.4 oz box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 8 oz can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 4 large sheets graham crackers

Directions

  1. Pour milk and pudding mix into 1-quart bowl.
  2. Stir 2 minutes.
  3. Let pudding set for 5 minutes until thick.
  4. Add drained pineapple to pudding and stir.
  5. Refrigerate until serving time.
  6. * Optional: serve with graham crackers.

 

Helpful Tips!

There are two basic kinds of pudding mix – “instant” and the kind you have to cook. Busy families might prefer “instant” since it’s ready to eat in 5 minutes. The “cook and serve” pudding is also very good, but it takes about 20 minutes to cook.

You can use sugar-free pudding if you want to. Sugar adds sweetness, but offers no health benefit. The key to eating sugary food is balance – eat one serving, not the entire recipe.
