• 2 tsp of vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup of onion, chopped
  • 14.5 oz can of low sodium chicken broth
  • 2 cups of instant brown rice
  • 2 cups of frozen mixed vegetables
  • 10 oz can of white meat chicken, dried


  1. Add onion, instant rice, and chicken broth to medium microwave-safe bowl. Stir to mix ingredients. Microwave for 6 minutes.
  2. Let stand for 5 minutes, then fluff rice with fork.
  3. Add frozen vegetables and canned chicken. Stir to mix. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave 3 minutes.
  4. Remove plastic wrap and stir. Microwave 3 additional minutes, uncovered. Serve with Yellow Sauce on the side.
